  2. Look, the simple fact of the matter is that you are fearful of injuring yourself again. It is the worst thing for a rugby player to get injured and it takes some longer to come back than others mentally. You seem to have lost all your confidence and as such things are not going well for you.
When you play Rugby getting injured is always a potential occurrence, but at the moment it seems as if your focussing on that more than anything else. You basically need to forget about the past, and remember why you play the game in the first place. Injuries happen, but don’t let it hold you back now, you need to back yourself and just go for it! Maybe take some soft contact and build your confidence up slowly, taking harder and harder contact until you realise your not injured any longer and you can play like you normally do. You must become confident in contact again otherwise finding your form will be nearly impossible.
    Good luck
